Babassu oil is a nutrient-rich oil that comes from cold-pressing the nuts of the Babassu tree.

A lightweight oil packed with antioxidants and healthy fatty acids (lauric acid, a medium-chain fatty acid ) with antibacterial and antimicrobial properties, making it useful for keeping scars clean and encouraging healing.
